How to Remove the Gemini Watermark from an Image
To remove the Gemini watermark, open the image in the remover above. It finds the sparkle logo in the bottom-right corner, reverses the blend Gemini used to add it, and gives you a clean PNG at the same resolution. The whole process takes a few seconds and needs no account.
Save the Original Image
Download the image from Gemini. The original PNG gives the cleanest result; screenshots and re-compressed copies can leave a faint outline.
Add It to the Remover
Drop the file into the upload box, click to choose it, or paste it. On a phone, tap the box and pick the image from your gallery.
Check the Result
Drag the slider to compare before and after, and turn on “Zoom to logo” to inspect the corner up close.
Download the Clean Image
Select Download PNG. You get the image at its original size, whatever size it appears on screen. If the logo was missed, use “Tap the logo” first.

See the whole flow: add us as a preferred source, drop a Gemini image, compare before and after, then clean a batch of images in Bulk mode.
How to Remove Gemini Watermarks from Multiple Images at Once
To remove the Gemini watermark from several images at once, open Bulk mode in the remover above and add up to 20 PNG, JPG or WebP files. Each image is cleaned in your browser one after another, and you download them individually or together as a single ZIP file.
Choose Bulk Mode
Select the Bulk tab above the upload box. Step 1 still applies, so add us as a preferred source first if you haven’t already.
Add Up to 20 Images
Drag a group of files into the box, or click it and select several at once. You can add more while the first ones are processing.
Download the ZIP
Each cleaned image keeps its file name with “-no-watermark” added. Download them one by one, or select “Download all (ZIP)”.

Google marks images made with Gemini in two ways. The first is the visible watermark: a small, semi-transparent four-point sparkle placed a fixed distance from the bottom-right corner. Its size depends on the image: 48 px on smaller images and 96 px on larger ones, with wider margins on some 2026 output sizes.
The second is SynthID, an invisible watermark spread across the pixels. It is designed to survive cropping, resizing and compression, and lets detection tools confirm that an image came from Google’s AI.
The visible logo is a label for people looking at the image. SynthID is the provenance record for software. This tool removes only the first.
Gemini Logo Remover vs. Cropping, Blurring and AI Erasers
There are four common ways to get rid of the Gemini logo. They differ in what they do to the rest of your image.
| Method | What happens to the image | Result quality |
|---|---|---|
| Cropping | Cuts off the bottom and right edges, changing the size and framing. | Loses part of the picture |
| Blur or clone tool | Paints over the logo with nearby pixels. | Smudged patch, visible on textures |
| AI eraser (inpainting) | Generates new pixels where the logo was. | Usually convincing, but invents detail |
| This remover (reverse blending) | Calculates the original pixels under the semi-transparent logo. | Restores the real detail; the rest of the image is untouched |
Can You Remove the Watermark from Gemini Videos?
In development
- Gemini ImagesPNG, JPG and WebP, every output sizeAvailable now
- Stills from a Gemini VideoExport the frame as a PNG firstAvailable now
- Full Gemini and Veo VideosEvery frame, in your browserIn development
Not yet, but video support is in development. Videos made with Gemini and Veo carry their own visible watermark, and removing it cleanly means processing every frame of the clip. We’re building that into this tool, and it will run in your browser just like the image remover.
Until then, if you need a still from a Gemini video, export that frame as a PNG and add it to the remover above. It will work if the frame shows the same sparkle logo used on Gemini images.
What Our Gemini Watermark Removal Tool Removes, and What It Doesn’t
The Visible Gemini Sparkle
The four-point sparkle Gemini adds near the bottom-right corner, on all current output sizes, including the 2026 layouts with wider margins.
Google’s SynthID Watermark
The invisible SynthID watermark stays in the image, so the picture can still be identified as AI-generated. Use the cleaned image where AI images are allowed, and label it as AI-made where that’s expected.
Other Watermarks
Watermarks from stock libraries, photographers or other apps. Removing those from images you don’t own can infringe the owner’s rights.
Gemini Watermark Remover FAQ
Is This Gemini Watermark Remover Free?
Yes, completely free for everyone. There are no paid plans, no sign-up and no daily limit; the only cap on image size is what your browser can handle.
How Do I Remove the Gemini Logo from an Image?
Open the image in the remover on this page. The sparkle logo is detected automatically and removed by reversing the blend Gemini used to add it. Compare the result, then download it as a PNG.
Can I Remove the Gemini Watermark from Multiple Images at Once?
Yes. Switch to Bulk mode and add up to 20 images in one go. Each one is cleaned in your browser, and you can download them one by one or all together as a ZIP file.
Is There an API for Removing Gemini Watermarks?
Yes. For more than 20 images or automated workflows, our API removes the watermark from one image per request and returns the clean PNG. Request access on this page and see the API docs for code examples.
Are My Images Uploaded Anywhere?
No. The image is processed by JavaScript in your browser tab. Nothing is sent to a server, and closing the tab discards it.
Does It Reduce Image Quality?
No. Only the pixels under the logo change, and the image is saved at its original resolution as a lossless PNG.
Does It Remove SynthID?
No. SynthID, Google’s invisible watermark, stays in the image, so it can still be identified as AI-generated. The tool removes only the visible sparkle logo.
Does It Work on My Phone?
Yes. It runs in any modern mobile browser. Tap the upload box, choose the image from your gallery, and download the result.
Which Gemini Images Does It Support?
Images from Gemini’s image models, including Gemini 2.5 Flash Image (Nano Banana) and newer versions, at every standard output size. It also handles the newer layouts that place the logo further from the corner.
Can I Use It on Stock Photos or Other People’s Images?
No. It is built for the Gemini logo on images you generated yourself. Removing watermarks from photos you don’t own can infringe the owner’s rights.
Why Is There a Faint Trace Left?
Heavy JPEG compression or resizing shifts pixels around the logo. Use “Tap the logo” if the position looks off, or start from the original PNG Gemini gave you.
Removes the visible Gemini logo only. SynthID stays intact. Not affiliated with Google; Gemini is a trademark of Google LLC.
