Editorial policy
How we report, review and correct our work.
Accuracy and sources
We check facts against primary sources wherever we can: company announcements, official documentation, research papers, filings and government publications. Articles list the sources they rely on. When we report something we could not confirm ourselves, we say so.
Reviews
Our reviews score each product out of 5 and break that down into features, ease of use, value and performance. Prices change often, so every review shows the pricing that applied when it was published or last updated. Companies cannot pay for a review or approve one before it is published.
Use of AI
We use AI tools for research and editing support, and we cover them because we use them. A named writer is responsible for every article, and a person checks the facts before publication.
Affiliate links and advertising
Some links may earn us a commission if you buy something. This never affects what we recommend or how we score a product. Sponsored content, if we publish any, will be clearly labelled.
Corrections
If we get something wrong, we fix it and note the change on the article. To report an error, contact us.
