Some links on our site may earn us a commission if you buy something, at no extra cost to you. We may also show ads and, rarely, publish labelled sponsored content. None of this affects what we cover, what we recommend or how we score products.
Affiliate links
When you click certain links to products and services and then sign up or buy, the seller may pay us a commission. Our writers choose and rank products before considering whether an affiliate programme exists, and we recommend products that pay us nothing when they are the best choice. Commission rates never change a score or a ranking.
Advertising
Ads are clearly separated from editorial content and labelled as advertising. Advertisers do not influence our coverage, are not told about articles in advance and cannot ask us to change or remove content.
Sponsored content
If a company pays us to publish content, it is labelled "Sponsored" at the top of the page, it is never presented as a review, and it is not written by the writers who review that company’s products.
Free access and review products
Companies sometimes give us free accounts or review access so we can test their products. This never guarantees coverage or a positive review, and we disclose it in the review. See our ethics policy.
