Jobright AI review 2026: is it worth it? Pricing, free plan, pros and cons
Jobright AI is a strong, free-to-start AI job search tool for US job seekers. We weigh its matching, resume tailoring, auto-apply agent and Turbo pricing.

Our verdict on Jobright AI
Jobright AI is one of the best AI job finders for US job seekers, with excellent matching and a genuinely useful free plan. Use it if you're applying to entry or mid-level US roles; skip it if you're outside the US, senior and targeting a few employers, or want hands-off auto-applying without checking every resume.
Pricing Free with daily credits; Turbo reported at $17.99/week, $39.99/month or $89.99/quarter (no public price list; check in-app)
Visit Jobright AIIs Jobright AI good? For most US job seekers, yes: it's one of the better AI job search tools for finding relevant roles fast, and the free plan is real. The catch is everything that happens after the match. Its AI-written resumes need a careful read, the auto-apply agent still needs supervision, and the paid Turbo plan isn't cheap at a reported $39.99 a month.
Quick honesty note before we go any further. Nobody on our team ran a hands-on test of Jobright for this review, so I won't pretend I timed my applications with a stopwatch. We compared Jobright AI using its app listing, independent reviews that did get inside the product, thousands of Trustpilot ratings and a stack of recent user comments, as of late October 2026. Where someone else did the testing, I'll name them.
Here's the short version: brilliant at the boring part (finding and ranking jobs), decent at the fiddly part (filling forms), and still risky at the part that matters most (what your resume actually says).
What is Jobright AI?
Jobright is an AI job finder and application copilot for job seekers. You upload your resume, set preferences, and it serves a feed of openings scored for fit, then helps you tailor a resume, fill in applications and find people to contact at the company. If you searched for "job right ai" or "jobs right ai", this is the one.
The company was founded in 2023 and is based in Santa Clara, California, according to zPlatform's company profile. In June 2025 it raised $3.2 million in a round led by Translink Capital, with Indeed's venture arm HR Tech Investments also taking part, The Register reported. That same month it launched Jobright Agent, which can submit applications for you rather than just suggesting them.
One big limit up front: it's built for the US. The App Store listing says it lists US-based roles only and claims more than 500,000 US job seekers use it, with 400,000 new jobs added every day. If you're job hunting in London or Lahore, this isn't your tool yet.
Key features
AI job matching and match scores
This is the heart of Jobright AI, and it's the part almost everyone likes. Every job gets a 0 to 100 match score based on your resume, and the feed refreshes every few minutes, per the App Store description. Filters cover location, remote work and seniority, and there's an H-1B sponsor filter built on USCIS employer data, which Careery's review flags as a genuine plus for international candidates.
Does it work? Users mostly say yes. One October 2026 Trustpilot reviewer said the free version found relevant postings better than LinkedIn and Indeed. A small number of others say the scores don't always line up with how LinkedIn rates the same job, and that location and experience filters could be sharper, judging by the most recent Trustpilot reviews.
Resume tailoring and cover letters
Jobright's Resume AI rewrites your resume and drafts a cover letter for each role. Users on Trustpilot like the resume score and keyword indicator. The worry is accuracy. Jobity's August 2026 test, summarised by Careery, found one edit that added a skill ("Go") that wasn't on the original resume, though it said most edits were legitimate. ATS Verification warns that AI-generated bullets can include metrics you never provided.
That's not a small thing. A resume that claims a skill you don't have is a resume that can sink you in an interview. Read every line before you send it.
Autofill extension
The Chrome extension fills in employer application forms across the major applicant tracking systems, and you hit submit. It's well rated, with 4.9 stars from 372 ratings and about 300,000 users on the Chrome Web Store as of October 9, 2026, per Careery. The most common gripe I saw: one recent Trustpilot reviewer said autofill kept asking for the same details again, and an App Store reviewer called the browser version "laggy".
Jobright Agent (auto-apply)
The agent finds roles and submits supported applications on your behalf. When it launched, it covered only US jobs in tech, education and government, and if a site blocks bots it hands the job back to you to apply manually, The Register reported. In August 2026, Jobity's test landed on a "You're on the Waitlist" screen with a button to skip the wait by paying, according to Careery's summary. So access and site coverage are still uneven.
Orion copilot, Insider Connections and alerts
Orion is the chat assistant. It helps with job fit, interview questions, behavioural coaching and salary negotiation, as described by ATS Verification, which calls it useful but shallower than human coaching. Insider Connections suggests people at your target companies to reach out to for a referral, and job alerts ping you when fresh matches appear.
Jobright AI pricing and plans
Here's the annoying bit: Jobright doesn't publish a job-seeker price list. Its pricing page returned a 404 when Careery checked on October 9, 2026, and ATS Verification found the Pricing link leads to employer plans. Prices appear only once you're signed in. The figures below come from an August 2026 in-account screenshot published by FavTutor and repeated by Jobstrack and Careery.
| Plan | Reported price | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | Job matching, match scores, filters, tracker, Orion chat, plus daily credits |
| Turbo weekly | $17.99/week | Removes most daily caps |
| Turbo monthly | $39.99/month | Removes most daily caps |
| Turbo quarterly | $89.99 every 3 months (about $30/month) | Removes most daily caps |
Prices reported, checked October 2026. Confirm in the app before you pay.
So what does the free plan really include? According to Careery, free users get the full job feed and match scores, then daily limits of 2 AI-tailored resumes, 4 one-click autofills, 2 AI cover letters, 2 LinkedIn email lookups, 1 instant job alert, 1 saved filter and "limited access" to the AI Agent. Credits reset at midnight and don't roll over.
Honestly, that's enough for a focused search. If you're sending three or four carefully chosen applications a day, you may never need Turbo.
Two things to watch. Prices have crept up: earlier reports put Turbo at $29.99 a month, and Resumly notes the jump to $39.99 across several 2026 reviews. And subscriptions renew automatically, with cancellation not triggering a refund on its own, Jobstrack notes. Set a calendar reminder if you're on the weekly plan, which works out to about $72 a month.
Performance and independent testing
Since we didn't test it ourselves, here's what the people who did found.
Setup is quick. FavTutor's August 2026 walkthrough described a five-step setup wizard, and some job cards showed an "Apply Now" button that opened the employer's own site, per Careery.
Matching is the strongest part. ATS Verification lists strong job discovery and ranking as its top pro, and the theme repeats across Trustpilot: relevant roles, less scrolling, roles you didn't see on other boards.
AI writing needs a human editor. Both Jobity and ATS Verification caught the resume tool adding things that weren't true. zPlatform says it counted at least 18 Reddit users reporting invented skills or metrics, though it doesn't link the threads, so treat that number with caution (zPlatform).
The big numbers are Jobright's own. The company says users save about 80% of their search time and land roughly twice as many interviews, based on early testing with around 200 people, The Register reported. No independent study has confirmed that, and ATS Verification calls the claims unverified.
Mass applying has a cost. ATS Verification also makes a fair point: firing off hundreds of applications can look unfocused to recruiters and multiplies any error you didn't catch. The Register raised the same worry from the employer side, where the real fear is a flood of low-quality applications.
One more caveat on sentiment. Trustpilot gives Jobright 4.8 out of 5 from 3,652 reviews, with 84% five-star and just 1% one-star, as of October 25, 2026 (Trustpilot). That's excellent. But several reviews by competing tools, including Resumly and zPlatform, say the negative reviews that do exist cluster around billing: charges after cancelling, auto-renewals and slow refund replies. Support is email-only. Keep in mind that those reviewers sell rival products.
Who it's for
Use it if: you're in the US, applying to entry-level or mid-level roles, and drowning in listings. New grads, career switchers and visa holders who need the H-1B filter get the most from it. The free plan alone is worth setting up.
Skip it if: you're outside the US, you're a senior candidate targeting a handful of companies, or you want a tool that applies for you while you sleep. ATS Verification lists senior candidates and non-US job seekers as poor fits. If you want a fully hands-off AI for jobs, you'll be disappointed, and frankly, that's probably a good thing.

Jobright AI alternatives worth considering
- Teal: pick it if you want a job tracker and resume builder in one, without the auto-apply angle. ATS Verification recommends it for tracking and resume building.
- Jobscan: choose it if your problem is getting past applicant tracking systems, since it focuses on matching your resume's keywords to a specific job description.
- LinkedIn Premium: better if you're senior or relationship-driven and want InMail credits and applicant insights over volume.

Verdict: is Jobright AI worth it?
Jobright AI is a genuinely useful AI job search tool. The matching is the best thing about it, the free plan is generous enough for a focused search, and the autofill extension saves real time on repetitive forms. Users love it, and the 4.8 Trustpilot score isn't an accident.
But it's a copilot, not a pilot. The resume tailoring can invent things, the agent is still patchy, and Turbo at a reported $39.99 a month (with no public price list) deserves a careful look before you hand over a card. My advice: start on free, use the matches, edit every AI-written line yourself, and only upgrade if the daily caps are actually slowing you down.
Our score: 4 out of 5.
FAQ
Is Jobright AI good?
Yes, for US job seekers it's one of the better AI job finders. It scores jobs against your resume, tailors applications and autofills forms, and it holds 4.8 out of 5 on Trustpilot from more than 3,600 reviews. Its AI-written resumes need checking, though, and the auto-apply agent isn't fully reliable yet.
Is Jobright AI free?
Yes. The free plan includes the job feed, match scores, filters, a tracker and the Orion assistant, plus daily credits such as two tailored resumes and four autofills. The paid Turbo plan, reported at $39.99 a month, $17.99 a week or $89.99 a quarter, removes most daily limits.
Is Jobright AI legit?
Yes. Jobright is a real US company founded in 2023 and backed by investors including Translink Capital and Indeed's venture arm. Reviewers who looked into it, including competitors, call its legitimacy a non-issue. Most complaints are about billing and auto-renewal, so cancel carefully if you subscribe.
Does Jobright AI apply to jobs for you?
Partly. Jobright Agent can submit some applications automatically, but access and site coverage vary, and sites that block bots send you back to apply manually. Most users still review and submit applications themselves using the autofill extension, which is the safer approach anyway.
Does Jobright work outside the US?
Not really. Its app listing says it shows US-based roles only, and independent reviewers describe the job feed as effectively US-focused. If you're searching elsewhere, a local job board or LinkedIn will serve you better for now.

What users are saying
We read about 48 recent user comments: 44 Trustpilot reviews from October 2026 and the App Store reviews shown on Jobright's listing. Nearly all were positive about matching and ease of use, with a few mixed reviews about autofill and filters. Independent reviews say the rarer negative reviews centre on billing, auto-renewal and AI resume errors, so we weighted our estimate down from the raw sample, which skews very positive.
